What little girl isn't being Elsa (or Anna) this year for Halloween?? Well this girl right here hasn't quite grown up from the days of dreaming of being a Disney Princess & since every other word out of my 3 year old cousin's mouth is "frozen" I knew I'd have to do something related to it for my favorite holiday, Halloween, this year! While I'm not entirely sure I'm going to dress up as the Ice Princess on the 31st this year it was SO much fun creating this look I'm thinking I need to find the perfect costume to match!

Whoever said neutrals were boring obviously never saw an outfit like this!! A leopard shift dress, layered necklaces, fur bag & suede booties...just your normal Sunday Funday outfit! I don't normally post on Sundays but hey...it's my birthday weekend and I'll post if I want to! Leopard, black & bright lips make up the perfect chic outfit to wear my first day as a 27 (trying to be excited about this) year old!

My first instinct after hearing the topic, The Glam Factor, was to load up on the sparkly accessories & call it a day, but instead I decided to challenge myself to creating a truly glam outfit with minimal jewelry. With glam hair & makeup paired with a printed skirt & shoes, the second I tried on this outfit I knew it was exactly the look I was going for!

Funny story...the last time I wore this printed skirt on the blog was for the Girly & Glam post I did this past Spring. Once again it's coming out for a GLAM week, but this time I definitely replaced the girly with the edgy pieces from my closet.

So these were TOTALLY supposed to be blood splattered nails, BUT no matter what red I tried (from bright red to deep deep burgundy), they kept coming out pink tinted! Good thing pink/red splattered nails are awesome! I've been meaning to try the plastic wrap technique to getting splattered nails for a while and now that I have you'll definitely been seeing it again (& again!). Literally all you do is drop a couple of drops of polish on a plate, crumple up a piece of plastic wrap, dip it in the polish and stamp it on your nail...that's it! I'm giving you a behind the scenes look of the aftermath of creating this mani on Instagram today ((& while you're there you should probably follow me too!))

Don't miss my Black & Gold Studded Halloween Mani from last week!

Do you not want to wear this outfit every single day for the rest of the season?? It's literally been a struggle not to pull this sweater out of my drawer every single morning. It's the perfect weight for the cool mornings & warm afternoons we've been experiencing in New York, and the cut out back is such an unexpected surprise that makes this sweater even more perfect! I've also been dying to pair white jeans with brown boots & when this pair arrived I knew it would look perfect with this sweater. I topped it off with a camel hat & created my perfect casual Fall weekend look ((weekender bag included!))
