i'm going to the jersey shore bitches

In my very best Snooki impression, "I'm going to the Jersey Shore Bitches!!!!!"

So I graduated college last May & haven't gotten a chance really to see most of my friends since then so when I heard talks of a "reunion" I told them they could count me in! We decided to meet in Seaside, NJ because it was pretty much smack in the middle of where most people where coming from (secretly I think it was because we wanted to see The Jersey Shore house!! haa). It was like we were never apart, I didn't actually miss college until this weekend. It couldn't have been a better weekend, the weather was perfect, I saw most of my college friends & I got to eat Broadwalk fries & zeppoles!

M.A.C.'s venomous villains collection

So So So Obsessed with M.A.C.'s Venomous Villains Collection, available today at It is filled with vibrant strong colors that definitely embody the villains they are named after. Obsessing over the plums, navys, magentas and everything else. The best part of Fall are jewel tone colors and this collection is exactly that. The perfect jewel tones for every villain (...or princess!) Besides the colors being right on point the names are even better...Who wouldn't want to wear a Lipstick called "Dark Deed"?

Here are some of the products I'll definitely be picking up:

Venomous Villains Cruella Lipstick in Innocence, Beware!
Venomous Villains Cruella Lipglass in Devilishly Stylish
Venomous Villains Evil Queen Lipglass in Hot House
Venomous Villains Evil Queen Eye Shadow in Vainglorious
Venomous Villains Maleficent Mineralize Eye Shadow Duo in My Dark Magic
Venomous Villains Maleficent Lipstick in Dark Deed

pudding pie

My Grandpa was so mad at all of us for not making his favorite dessert, Pudding Pie, for his Birthday, so me being on this baking kick I decided I would make it.

It is a super easy recipe but taking a little bit of time.

12 x 8 Aluminum Tin
2 Boxes of Chocolate Jello Cook & Serve (It has to be Cook & Serve Instant doesn't work!)
6 Cups of Whole Milk
1 Box of Nabisco Honey Graham Crackers
Whipped Cream

1. Pour 6 cups of milk in a large saucepan & pour in 2 boxes of Jello Cook & Serve Mix.
2. Wisk and stir the Pudding Mixture while bringing it to a boil. (If you let it settle it will stick to the bottom of the pan, its very easy to burn pudding.)
3. When it comes to a boil it should look like this. (Takes about 20 minutes)
4. While Pudding is still hot coat the bottom of the tin with it, make sure no silver is showing.
5. Cover Pudding with one layer of Graham Crackers.
6. Cover Graham Cracker layer with another layer of Pudding. Make sure to cover all crackers.
7. Repeat Steps 5 & 6 until all Pudding is gone (I usually do about 4 layers of each). Crumble leftover Graham Crackers for top.
8. Let sit on counter for about an hour, then keep in refridgerator until you are ready to serve it.
9. Top with Whipped Cream and its ready to eat!!

This is my family's go to dessert we have it at EVERY holiday and get together, we usually go through about 4 trays of it!!

mark. monday!!

Happy mark. Monday!! This post is ALL about FACE! The Fall is officially here and I couldn't be happier! I definitely use much different products on my face in the summer then in the Fall so I figured I would share my favorite with you! In the Summer I only like to use a Get A Tint Tinted Moisturizer, but now in the Fall I feel like I need more coverage! Here are my 2 mark. FAVS!!
The first product is mark.'s Powder Buff Natural Skin Foundation! I absolutely Love It! Some days I only like a little bit of coverage so I love to use this powder with a powder brush, but when I need more coverage I used a sponge! It is SO versatile! This powder doesn't cake on your skin, it leaves it dewy and fresh. I use mark.'s Get a Tint Tinted Moisturizer then this product for a flawless finish!
The next product is a BRAND NEW one!! It is mark's Touch & Glow Shimmer Cream Cubes All Over Face Palette. It highlights any part of your face that you want with the perfect amount of shimmer and glow! As the Summer fades I feel like my healthy glow goes with it, this is the perfect replacement I love adding it to my cheekbones, down the center of my nose and underneath my eyebrow for a GLOWING face! The mix of colors is the perfect combo for any time of day, any skin color, any age!

new york fashion week

I've been saving all of my favorite NYFW photos during the past week and when I came to look at them all today its pretty apparent the trends I'm obsessed with! Absolutely loving bright colors, neutrals, minidresses and draping. Here are my favorites from NYFW Spring/Summer 2011.

Vivienne Tam- love the baby doll style dress
Ralph Lauren
Elise Overland - I'm obsessed with short white dresses for the Summer. This could easily transition into Fall with black tights and booties!
Michael Kors - OBSESSED. The only word to describe this...the color, the neckline, the slit!
Jason Wu
Elise Overland - I have a similar dress, but I'm loving this yellow color!
Catherine Malandrino - The one shoulder and the necklace!!
Sarah Jessica Parker in Halston - I love how her dress perfectly matches her shoes!
Anna Sui
Frank Tell - Wedges! Wedges! Wedges!

mark. monday!!

I know I usually recommend 2 items on mark. Mondays but I've been so obsessed with mark.'s LipClick Lipstick the past few months that I think it deserves its own post!! They are lightweight full coverage lipsticks that are super moisturizing (essential to any lipsticks I buy because I have dry lips!). The best part about the LipClicks are the CLICK part, the case is magnetic so it CLICKs shut and they top won't come off in your bag!

Right now I'm loving Bare Hug, Coral Fixation & Sweetie Pie but I ordered Whiney and can't wait for it to come in the mail!!! New York Fashion Week definitely confirmed the full coverage lip color trend and for only $10 you can't go wrong with ANY of these colors!!
WhoWhatWear recently named mark.'s LipClick in Baby Luv in their post dedicated to Ungaro!
"One of our favorite purveyors of covetable cosmetics—mark—has once again struck gold with the new lovely Lipclick lipsticks! The sleek little tubes magnetically click shut (it's really a fun touch, we promise) guaranteeing the cap never falls off in your clutch, while the stick itself is both incredibly moisturizing and lightweight. While we recommend you snatch up all eight fancy-schmancy shades, we particularly like Baby Luv; girly but subtle, we find it to be the ideal pink!"

Get a Tint in Buff/Natural, Please Hold Eye Primer in Light/Medium, Powder Buff Foundation in Natural, Glowdacious Illuminating Powder in Shimmied Up, Pro Bronze Powder in Pro Golden iMark Eyeshadow in Whisper, Make It Big Mascara in Raven, Lipclick Lipstick in Sweetie Pie
SOO obsessed with Jessica Szohr's messy updo she wore to the Herve Leger show during NYFW that I had to copy! Here's the 3 second hang around the house version, but I'll definitely be wearing this messy pony out soon!
