Golden Globes

Clearly I only watch the Golden Globes to see what people are wearing...and let me tell you I was pleasantly surprised this year.

I am LOVING long sleeved gowns...OMG. I can't explain how much I loved Angelina Jolie & Anne Hathaway. I think Angelina surprised everyone stepping out in something that wasn't black! & green is definitely one of my favorite evening colors. Then Anne Hathaway took it to a whole other level with this dress...the shoulders....the Swarovski crystals...in the words of her stylist Rachel Zoe "I DIE".

I have to go to a black tie wedding in February and I was going through my mom's closet for something to wear when I found the beautiful long sleeved strong shouldered gold gown that she wore as Maid of Honor at her best friend's wedding and I almost died! I died even more when I tried it on & there was a stain on the front of it. But I'm determined to find something amazing for the wedding & with these 2 women stepping out in long sleeved gowns I know my love for them is here to stay!

Next Sandra Bullock & Megan Fox in Pale Pink. Another OMG moment. The pale color with just the right amount of crystals and their dark hair is perfect! The embordiery on Sandra's dress is amazing & I love the bandage detail on the bodice of Megan's. Love Love Love.

And then there was Olivia Wilde. I am just completely & totally jealous of this entire outfit. She looks like a princess in this Marchesa ball gown. Who wouldn't absolutely die to wear this embrodiered gown. I can't even put into words how much I love it. Then she lifted up the skirt and showed us her totally unexpected studded gold Louboutin booties. I can't. What I would do if I had those shoes? I don't think they would ever leave my feet.
