Knifty Knitter DIY

I have a hat & scarf obsession. I completely blame the hat obsession on my family; when I was little the fun thing to do was buy Jackie crazy hats and make her wear them. I must've had hundreds...and I'm not exxagerating...hundreds of hats from little green plastic St. Patricks Day hats to furry winter hats. So now I'm just a "hat person". Still to this day if I get a new hat I always have to show my grandpa, he got a kick out of the leopard hat here.

Freshman year of college me and my friends got on this knitting kick. Just about every girl on campus had a Knifty Knitter. It is basically the idiot proof way to knit. When I was little my grandmas both taught me how to crochet & knit but I only learned how to make one stitch and never got around to learning how to connect them...pointless. So the Knifty Knitter is amazing. Every winter it makes its way out of the dark side of my closet and I am a knitting machine. I think one year every single person on my Christmas list got a scarf.

With all the snow we've been getting in NY I've had a lot of time off from work. I don't think I've worked a full week since before Christmas (believe me I'm not complaining! lol) Luckily I found some super cute super soft yarn leftover from last winter & got to knitting.

I made a hat with a flower - not going to lie I'm pretty proud of myself - and a circle scarf to match!! Pick up a Knifty Knitter & some cute yarn & start knitting!! You'll never had to buy a scarf again!
