Carnevale is seriously the best part of the Winter! Carnevale is an annual festival in Venice, Italy that is celebrated the two weeks before Ash Wednesday. It started as a time for celebration & expression throughout the classes, and wearing masks hid any form of identification between social classes. Today approximately 30,000 visitors come to Venice every day during Carnevale.
Since we can't go all the way to Italy every February, many catering halls celebrate Carnevale. We go to Villa Barone in Mahopac, NY every year & it is the most fun ever. You eat a TON of food, drink & dance all night. So much fun...if you ever have the chance to attend one I highly suggest it. Its like a Wedding but no one is getting married thats the only way I can describe it!
We took a party bus because my Dad is crazy!! LOL & didn't want anyone to drive afterwards!
& there was a stripper pole in the back. Enough said...
