Room for Style: 2013 Spring Fashion Trends

Being that yesterday was the first day of Spring, this Room for Style 2013 Spring Trends post is right on time! We've all had plenty of time to digest the trends on the Spring runways & now its time to figure out how to incorporate them into our everyday life! I picked 3 of my favorite trends to show you how I plan on wearing them with items already in my closet!

Neutrals & Neons
I'm sure EVERYONE has a "go to" neutral dress that they grab for whenever they "have nothing to wear." This nude shirtdress is exactly that, but usually when I wear it I pair it with basics, like black pumps and a structured bag. For Spring I'll definitely be wearing my neutrals with the brightest pieces in my wardrobe. Definitely recreating THIS look next!

Bare Midriffs 

The most daring of the 3 looks I chose to showcase, but much more wearable than I thought it would be! Midi skirts were all the rage last year and instead of tucking a blouse in like I usually would I just pulled the one crop top I own out and threw it on. Love how just a sliver of skin shows & how the overall look really highlights my waist. Can't wait to pair this top with shorts (or a short skirt) once the temperature warms up, like I did here.

Black & White
Obviously the easiest of the 3 & probably a trend you're already wearing. Definitely a look you can wear all year around, but a nice departure from the pastels & florals that go hand in hand with the Spring season. Really loving the cut of this white tuxedo blazer, a welcome change from your average blazer or even the ever popular boyfriend blazer.
