Yesterday, we learned that a
Triad Color Scheme is created when you pair together three colors that are equally spaced from each other on the color wheel!
The most common triadic color scheme you'll find in fashion is the combination of blue, red & yellow (or gold). I'm sure everyone has worn this color combo as least...I don't know 100 times...unless you're one of those people that "doesn't wear gold", so putting together that outfit was easy.
On the other hand, when I was faced with putting together an outfit that combined green, orange & pink/purple...that was another story. After trying a few combos that definitely didn't work, I read over my mom's
decorating post and loved the line that said "
When all three colors have the same intensity it creates a balanced room." That statement definitely holds true with fashion too. This second outfit basically put itself together after I realized I shouldn't be downplaying any of the colors, I should be embracing them!
