A few week's ago fellow mark. rep, Kristine Bratcher, messaged me asking if I'd like to try out some of the handmade soaps she was starting to make. I, of course, jumped at the chance because let's be serious, who doesn't like amazing smelling soap?!?!? When my package came in the mail I could literally smell the mint through the envelope! & when I took the bars out of the package they ALMOST looked too pretty to use ((I did say almost! Check out
Bratcher Sundries Etsy Store to see what I mean)
All I have to say is that I'M HOOKED!! I don't know if I'll ever be able to buy soap from the store after using these. Not only are these homemade products, BUT they are healthy, clean & sustainable...& they're made with organic materials that are locally grown. I love being able to support small businesses & I'm so glad I get to share them with my readers!!
Bratcher Sundries is giving away a Gift Basket filled with 5 large Bratcher Sundries soaps, a two-piece soap dish & 2 wash clothes. ((worth over $95!))

A little background on Bratcher Sundries & it's owner, Kristine!
The soap business of Bratcher Sundries started at my home last year in Atlanta, Georgia. My husband wanted me to learn how to make soaps for when we retire to our farm in Tennessee in about 10 years or so. So I started making soaps just from the ingredients in our kitchen pantry and the pans and bakeware in our cabinets. They were pretty good soaps, but I was not following a recipe, so they weren't my best. Then, I did some research online and found a blog where they give you soap recipes and ideas for soapmaking. So my soaps started to become hot sellers in my area and since I love antiques, I added that we sell vintage soap dishes alongside the great smelling and beautiful soaps! And that became Bratcher Sundries.
Now I live in Virginia, near D.C. and am selling the same soaps up here. They love them as much as Atlanta did! In Atlanta, I left behind boxes and boxes of soap to be sold at Head Games Salon in Winder, Georgia and they are doing well there. Here in Virginia, I just started selling my soaps from People's Drug Store in Strasburg, Virginia and a spa in Minnesota wants to start selling my soaps there too! With many more prospects here in Virginia, I think Bratcher Sundries will have a good future.
