Honestly I don't know if I could top yesterday's Let's Head to the Caribbean decorating post
, I seriously can't take how gorgeous all of those rooms were! I love how it took the traditional "beach home" decor of seashells and starfish to another level by concentrating on color instead on themes!
The colors that come to mind when you're thinking about a tropical vacation - rich blues, corals & soft nudes - are such amazing colors to work, so putting together these two outfits was a breeze. They are both really summery, but in completely different ways!
The first Sandy Neutral
outfit basically put itself together. I think a neutral palette is much easier to work with than an all white palette and it lets be serious...it looks great with a tan! As for my Ocean Blue
outfit, I was not only inspired by the clear Caribbean water, but also this amazing Alexis Necklace
that Derng sent me. The vibrancy of the jewel tones from this necklace created a palette for the outfit on its own!
