Makeup Monday: Purple Haze

The humidity in NY was out of control this week. Rainy, hot & humid weather = a disastrous makeup situation...if you aren't using the right products! I've already professed my love for Rimmel London's Stay Matte Foundation (which I will absolutely be using all Summer), but today it's all about primer!!

Skindinavia sent over their brand new Makeup Primer Spray a couple of weeks ago and I'm obsessed! I can't begin to explain how well this stuff works. I've never used a primer spray before so I wasn't really sure if it would apply evenly and actually keep my makeup put, but boy was I wrong! A couple of spritzes of this before applying your makeup and it's not budging...not even a little! The first day I used it I went to work from 9-4, ran errands after work then had dance class for 2 hours...I got home at 10:30 that night and my makeup looked EXACTLY the same as when I applied it that morning!

1. Prime face with Skindinavia Makeup Primer Spray (c/o) to prep skin for foundation. Using a Foundation Brush apply Rimmel London Stay Matte Foundation (c/o) to entire face. Conceal under eye circles with IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer (c/o).
2. Apply NYX Matte Bronzer in Light (c/o) to hollows of cheeks and around hair line. Dust mark. Just Blushing Blush in Cameo (c/o) to apples of cheeks and just above eyebrows.
3. Apply Buxom Stay There Eyeshadow in Schnauzer to lids and blend out. Curl lashes with mark. Make Me Lash Eyelash Curler. Swipe upper & lower lashes with 2 coats of Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara (c/o) in black. Groom and fill in brows with Benefit Brow Zings.
4. Finish lips with Lancome Color Design Lip in Bare Lip (c/o Saks Fifth Avenue).
