Living After Midnite: Makeup Monday: Rose Gold

If you scroll back through my last few Makeup Monday posts they've been a lot of the same, because honestly when something works and you don't have a lot of time to experiment it's hard to change your routine. This week I told myself I needed to keep my liquid liner in the drawer and refrain from my normal cat eyeliner in favor of a softer smudged look. Rose gold jewelry is all the rage right now, especially since this shade of metallic looks great with a little bit of a tan, so why not add it to your makeup routine? Pearl rose gold shadow paired with a plum liner, warm blush & a high gloss rosy lip was just the change I needed this week!

Prime face with Skindinavia Makeup Primer Spray (c/o) to prep skin for foundation. Apply Rimmel London Stay Matte Foundation to face. Conceal under eye circles with It Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye Concelear.

Using bareMinerals California Bronze Palette (c/o) apply The Ocean View to hollows of cheeks and around hair line. Apply bareMinerals Blush in Daybreak (similar) to apples of cheeks and blend. Set makeup with Bare Minerals Mineral Veil (c/o).

Prime eyelids with Julep Eye Primer (c/o). Apply Bare Skin from bareMinerals The Sexy Neutrals Palette on entire lid from lashes to brow, apply In the Buff from same palette to crease and blend. Line upper lashes with bareMinerals Eyeliner in Perpetual Plum and smudge. Line waterline with em Eyeliner in In the Nude. Curl lashes with Sephora Show Curl Lash Curler. Prime lashes with Urban Decay Subversion Lash Primer & follow with 3 coats of tarte Gifted Mascara (c/o). Groom and fill in brows with Benefit Gimme Brow.

Apply The Shining Moment from bareMinerals California Bronze Palette (c/o) to cheek bones and inner corners of eyes.

Finish lips with mark. Lipstick in Whiney topped with bareMinerals Gloss in Prima Donna (similar).
