Trying a makeup look I've never tried before, I'm wearing eyeshadow and lipstick in the same color family! Pairing berry lipstick and metallic berry eyeshadow was definitely a beauty risk, but one with a great payout. Plus after seeing Selena Gomez rock smoky berry eye makeup at last night's AMAs I knew this unusual pairing would be in the spotlight, especially for the Holidays.
I mixed 2 shades of metallic berry shadow to great this colorful eye, and a burgundy and bright red lipstick to create this custom lip color. If you're looking for a beauty look thats a little out of the box for one of your Holiday parties I would definitely suggest trying this!
Makeup Monday: Berry Lipstick & Berry Eyeshadow Tutorial:
- Apply Clinique Redness Solutions Foundation to face with damp beautyblender. Conceal under eye circles with bareSkin Complete Coverage Serum Concealer. Set foundation with bareSkin Perfecting Veil c/o.
- Apply IT Cosmetics CC + Radiance Ombre Bronzer (c/o) to hollows of cheeks and around hair line. Apply IT Cosmetics CC + Radiance Ombre Blush (c/o) to apples of cheeks and blend. Dust bareMinerals Perfecting Veil Highlight cheekbones with shade 2 from e.l.f. Illuminating Palette (c/o).
- Apply shade 1 from e.l.f. Sunset Prism Eyeshadow Palette (c/o) from lash line to brows. Apply shade 5 in crease and shade 6 in outer corners and blend. Line upper lashes with Maybelline Master Precise Eyeliner. Curl lashes with Sephora Show Curl Lash Curler. Prime lashes with Urban Decay Subversion Lash Primer & follow with 1 coat of IT Cosmetics Tightline Mascara (c/o) on roots of lashes and 3 coats of Maybelline The Falsies Mascara. Apply Andre #45 Mod Lashes. Groom and fill in brows with IT Cosmetics Skinny Brow Pencil (c/o).
- Apply Revlon Lipstick in Black Cherry along outer portion of lips, then apply Urban Decay Lipstick in F-Bomb to center of lips and blend.
