An Engagement Surprise!

If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram you know that I was pretty much MIA all of last weekend. My normal steady stream of posts stopped on Friday and didn't pick back up until Monday...well it was for a VERY good reason!  No I wasn't taking a social media break...I was in Philadelphia for a super secret visit and to surprise my best friend after she got ENGAGED!!!!!

Chris called me about a month ago to tell me he was going to ask Christine to marry him and I couldn't stop freaking out. I never thought I could be so happy & excited for someone. When Chris told me he wanted all of Christine's closest friends to be there with her to celebrate I couldn't wipe the smile off my face. Keeping this a secret from her was one of the hardest things I've ever done. Every time we spoke (which was A LOT) I had to be extra careful of what I said and was counting down the days until I didn't have to hide this AMAZING news anymore. The look on her face when she saw us just a few short minutes after Chris popped the question made it all worth it!

I couldn't be happier for two people & I'm so glad I got to be there to celebrate!

Since Christine is my biggest blogging fan & #1 reader she definitely deserved her own post.

We may have celebrated the end of this trip with a few drinks, but we toasted for the future!
