Valentine's Day is quickly approaching & I'm wearing bright red & pink lipstick any chance I get! This week is all about the matte red lip - perfect for that big Valentine's date - but if bright pink is more your style then last week's look in right up your alley. I usually keep my eyes pretty simple when wearing a bold red lip, but I wanted to switch it up and pair it with smudged smoky eye. This may be a little too much for some people, but since I kept my skin clean & shimmer on the eye to a minimum I think it's a perfect sultry balance for date night! The best part about this look is that the more smudged the eye makeup the better so no matter how good (or bad) you are at applying eye shadow & liner this will look amazing!

- Prime face with Skindinavia Makeup Primer Spray (c/o) to prep skin for foundation. Conceal under eye circles with IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer (c/o).
- Benefit Hoola Bronzer (c/o) to hollows of cheeks and around hair line. Dust bareMinerals Blush in Stellar (c/o) to apples of cheeks. Set makeup with Bare Minerals Mineral Veil (c/o).
- Prime eyelids with Julep Eye Primer (c/o). Apply shade 4 (middle row, left color) from mark. On the Dot Smoky Palette to entire lid and along lower lashes. Line upper lashes with bareMinerals Eyeliner in Absolute Black and smudge. Curl lashes with mark. Make Me Lash Eyelash Curler. Prime upper & lower lashes Urban Decay Subversion Lash Primer & follow with 3 coats of tarte Gifted Mascara (c/o). Groom and fill in brows with Benefit Gimme Brow.
- Finish lips with LAQA & Co. Lip Crayon in Palate Cleanser.
