One of my favorite trends from the Spring/Summer 2016 Runways is definitely the resurgence of the slip dress! This wildly popular 90s trend is back in a huge way and while I was too young to fully appreciate it back then, I'm a huge fan of slip dresses. It's hands down one of the easiest trends to pull off because there are so many variations of the slip dress itself that no matter what your size, shape or style is you're bound to find a style that looks great on you.

Can you believe Tiffany and I both went with long black slip dress with white vests!? Also SO in love with the scarf necklace look...I'll definitely be stealing that idea. I'm no stranger to the slip dress trend (you can see me rocking it here, here & here), but for this post I wanted to go for a more sleek dressed up look than I've worn in the past. I've been really into midi length dresses right now (probably because I'm ghostly pale and have giant bruises all over my legs from dancing) so when I found this silky black dress I knew it would work perfectly for this trend. I ended up belting it to accentuate my waist, but I love the way it looks without it too.
I actually just realized as I was typing this that I'm wearing a TON of Spring trends in this outfit - collar necklace, long vest, fringe sandals & of course the slip dress! Excuse me while I pat myself on the back for pulling off the "trendiest" outfit ever (at least I think I did!)
